Update on the NiNa CD
IT'S HERE! I have the CD and I just ripped it to my computer. I can now officially confirm that it's absolutely fantastic. I actually uploaded it to the Internet Archive so more people can hopefully learn about it and maybe give it a listen! You can find it here-> Link to the Archive Upload
Two songs I highly suggest you check out are Star by The Crash and Happy Tomorrow by NiNa. I highlight these songs in particular because they're actually not streaming anywhere. From what I've found you can only listen to them by watching the music videos for them on YouTube. I'm particularly taken with NiNa at the moment because as you probably see from my Spotify Wrappeds or even my favorites tab on the home page, I'm a huge B-52's fan. NiNa was a supergroup comprising of Kate Pierson (of B-52's fame) and several new wave J-Pop artists. They only made one album together and it's not streaming on any major platform that I could find. I actually just purchased a copy of the album off of Discogs and I'm still waiting for it to come in, because copies seem to only ship from China and Japan. Here's the cover!
